Consciousness Evolution
Just as humans have evolved from apes throughout history, developing new abilities to improve their quality of life, we also evolve in consciousness throughout our lifetime. History has shown that each new generation discovers and masters new skills that make life easier. From the discovery of fire, we quickly progressed to electricity, and today we are replacing many things with artificial intelligence. The same applies to our consciousness. We are born with a certain level of awareness, which we later expand to ensure a better quality of life.
Our level of consciousness determines how we live, the relationships we build, the lifestyle we lead, the professions we choose, how we behave, the attitudes we adopt, and the principles we follow. In essence, it shapes our entire personality and life.
Consciousness can be understood similarly to education or professional development—just as a higher level of knowledge and education provides greater career opportunities and allows us to perform tasks more efficiently, so too does a higher level of consciousness enable us to live a more fulfilling and enriched life.
As we expand our consciousness, our quality of life improves. At lower levels of awareness, we are unable to comprehend that we have control over all integral parts of ourselves (mind, body, thoughts, emotions, needs, desires, reactions, attitudes, etc.) to change our circumstances for the better. But as our consciousness expands, we gradually learn to master every aspect of ourselves.
First, we learn to control, develop, and manage our physical abilities, which begins immediately after birth. Then, we develop our cognitive skills, logical reasoning, and the ability to analyze situations and people from different perspectives. Once we reach a sufficient level of awareness, we can engage in self-analysis, which is crucial for further consciousness development.
Understanding ourselves fully is an essential ability that allows us to recognize that we can change any part of ourselves that hinders our progress. At this stage, we first become aware of the existence of the ego as an integral part of every human being. Ego is the greatest obstacle to any kind of growth because it constantly pulls us backward and forces us to feed our vanity at the expense of personal development. Many people stop their evolution at this stage because they are unable to recognize their ego or understand that they can control it. Often, individuals identify with their ego, preventing further expansion of consciousness.
After overcoming this phase, we begin to notice our thoughts and realize that our beliefs and attitudes shape them. We discover that changing a belief can lead to different thoughts, and in turn, we understand that thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs can be controlled and altered.
At this point, we recognize the connection between thoughts and emotions. We understand that specific thoughts generate specific emotions, meaning we can change how we feel by altering our thoughts. As evolution continues, we realize that our thoughts can also change our circumstances. This is the stage where we begin to create relationships that suit us and accept unfavorable circumstances as indicators that we need to change something within ourselves to improve our external conditions. Here, we reach a level of awareness that allows us to understand that by changing ourselves, we can create situations and circumstances that align with our desires.
In the next phase, we become aware that we are connected to higher forces and that we are more than just a physical body. We recognize ourselves as energetic beings capable of manifesting tangible outcomes through thoughts and intentions. At this point, we become creators of our reality. However, this stage also carries the risk of falling under the influence of the ego, as the realization that we can shape reality through our thoughts may lead to a sense of superiority and even the illusion of being godlike. If we succumb to this ego trap, we may temporarily continue manifesting, attributing it to supernatural abilities, but life circumstances—often in the form of illness—will eventually serve as reminders that we must continue evolving to discover deeper aspects of our being.
If we progress beyond this point, we recognize another integral part of ourselves—the soul. Awareness of the soul allows us to understand that we are composed of pure love and that we must release all negative and destructive influences that prevent us from fully experiencing love. This is the first time we truly grasp what love is, how it manifests, and how it feels. At this level, we deepen our capacity to love, expanding the boundaries of our relationships and interactions with the world. We also encounter true fulfillment, a sense of deep satisfaction and inner peace that far surpasses pleasure derived from passion or intellect.
Pleasures at this stage are long-lasting and do not create further cravings. Once an emotion emerges at this level, it either remains unchanged or grows stronger, unlike infatuation or desire, which quickly fade. When we experience true love, we are overcome by a feeling of complete fulfillment, joy, and serenity—an unchanging state that does not depend on external factors, as this love becomes an integral part of us. Simply experiencing it is enough to sustain us for the rest of our lives.
Yet even at this level, evolution does not stop—it can go further and deeper.
When we realize that we are beings with a soul, we understand that this is the very part of us that gives us life. It is the aspect that guides us and holds the answers to all our questions. At this level, we recognize that we are not the ones controlling any part of ourselves, nor are we the true creators of anything—everything we are comes from the soul. This realization leads us to explore the connection between our entire being and the soul.
We discover that when we act in alignment with our soul, we experience a unique sense of satisfaction and peace that permeates our entire existence—our body, mind, thoughts, and emotions all radiate harmony. We learn how to communicate with our soul and follow its guidance. We come to understand that our soul signals us through various emotions and sensations, helping us discern whether we are on the right path. We also notice that when we act in ways that are not in alignment with our soul, certain parts of our body become ill. This reveals a direct connection between illness and the self-destructive choices we make.
Following this realization, we understand that our soul is connected to something even greater—our Source or God. We begin to explore this relationship and the various ways we can connect with the divine force that unites all beings. At this level, we develop awareness of our interconnectedness with all living beings, both in the physical and spiritual realms. We start recognizing how past events in our lives were necessary lessons preparing us for our ultimate purpose. We realize that our entire life has been a form of training, leading us toward fulfilling our most important mission—the very reason we were born and came into this world.
Here, we encounter the concept of personal purpose (Dharma) and begin to understand what is required to embark on the path of fulfilling it.
Even this is not the final stage of evolution—there is always more to explore.
Beyond this, we further develop our awareness in the direction of deepening our relationship with God and complete surrender to divine will. At this stage, we allow God to take full control over our existence, trusting entirely in divine guidance. Here, we experience and witness the omnipotence of God and the profound joy of serving the divine. This level of existence cannot be described or compared to any human experience—it transcends human emotion and offers fulfillment beyond anything we have ever known.
And even here, evolution does not end—consciousness is limitless. But for now, this is where our discussion of consciousness will pause.
Levels of Consciousness Evolution
- Unconscious Existence – The Lowest Impulses – The Human-like Beast
- Physical Existence – The Human Animal
- Material Existence – The Creator
- Emotional Existence – The Healer
- Spiritual Existence – The Spiritual Human
- Mature Consciousness – The Divine/Holy Human
Unconscious Existence – The Lowest Impulses – The Human-like Beas
Characteristics and Manifestations:
- Lack of consciousness and conscious action
- Inability for self-observation and real self-analysis
- Entire existence is subordinated to satisfying the lowest impulses. At this level, a person is like a beast constantly hungry for impulses and excitement that are below the level of humanity.
- Absence of any moral principles or human standards
- Complete lack of rational reasoning and behavior – a person acts based on the current impulse, unable to restrain it or comprehend its consequences
- Inability to experience any emotion
- Total absence of conscience
- Individuals at this level of consciousness/unconsciousness are often characterized by psychological and mental disorders, addictions (drugs, alcohol, sex, gambling, etc.), personality disorders…
- Distorted perception of reality
- Inability to perceive reality
- Inability to establish healthy relationships
- Inability to speak the truth – lying is the only means of communication
- Absence of humanity, compassion, and empathy…
- Inability to distinguish good from bad
- Complete lack of awareness of acceptable and unacceptable behavior
- Other people are seen merely as objects for satisfying personal needs and impulses
- Manipulation and deception are skills they use in every relationship and every situation
- Absence of self-respect and a sense of shame
- Lack of self-control
- They give others the impression that they consider themselves the smartest, most capable, and the best in everything, which is just a mask to hide unconscious self-hatred and fear of rejection and non-acceptance
- Lack of awareness of their own feelings and whether they are good or bad, or whether they could be better
- Their views and opinions are unchangeable, and at this level, very few people make any changes in their behavior or life. Due to the agony they experience, they often escape into their own world where they convince themselves that everything is great.
Drivers and Areas of Action:
- The lowest impulses are the absolute drivers of individuals at this level, and the basic purpose of life is reduced to satisfying these impulses
- The most common impulses governing such individuals include: all forms of sexual disorders (pedophilia, rape, prostitution, necrophilia, fetishism, etc.), crimes of passion, all forms of sadistic behaviors and needs, drug addiction, uncontrolled overeating, all types of uncontrolled behavior, the desire to establish control over others, creating an ideal image for others, hunger for money, position, status, and false reputation (they crave reputation but have nothing to earn it with, so they create false images of themselves to temporarily gain an illusion of prestige, which sooner or later collapses, prompting them to change environments and repeat the pattern)…
- The ego is the absolute ruler here, in its most destructive form, and at this level of consciousness, very few people can break free from the grip of ego and any impulse
- Fears that dominate individuals at this level: an intense fear of death, fear of abandonment, fear of rejection, fear of facing themselves and their actions, fear of exposure…
Physical Existence – The Human Animal
Characteristics and Manifestations:
- The lowest level of consciousness, limited to performing necessary actions for mere survival.
- Acting from a state of complete mental fog, driven by fears and rigid, destructive, and limiting beliefs.
- Total unawareness of the mind as an integral part of one’s being, which can be influenced.
- Development of emotions, but primarily destructive ones, such as sadness, melancholy, anger, dissatisfaction, hatred, envy, jealousy, etc.
- Love is experienced and interpreted through sadness, suffering, jealousy, dependency, etc.
- Complete unawareness of the possibility of changing beliefs, thoughts, emotions, etc.
- Failure to take responsibility for one’s own life, acting from a state of countless limitations they do not recognize as self-imposed.
- Always guided by why something cannot be done or is impossible, without attempting to find a way out or a solution.
- The presence of an external culprit is crucial—parents, the state, a partner, God—everyone else is to blame for their circumstances, and they see no way to change anything except to lament over their fate.
- Generally, people at this level have low intellectual capacities.
- They receive only a basic level of education; some may be highly educated, but their education has not broadened their horizons—only provided the necessary skills for their chosen profession. Outside of that, they struggle, and even within their profession, they resist alternative methods beyond what they have learned.
- Suffering, illness, a difficult fate, and complaining are their main topics of concern.
- Their limited mindset leads to envy and jealousy toward those with slightly better circumstances while condemning those facing real hardships for not being as incapacitated as they are by lesser obstacles.
- Incapable of realizing that many circumstances could change if they altered their beliefs, behaviors, or developed new skills.
- Inability to connect cause and effect, following imposed behavioral patterns from authority figures without questioning their consequences, even when repeatedly faced with negative outcomes.
- A conscious person follows the principle that for every problem, there are at least three solutions, whereas at this level, the principle is that for every progress, change, or solution, there are countless limitations.
- The meaning of life is reduced to mere survival and taking only the necessary actions to maintain it.
- Lack of ambition, active engagement, dreams, or significant aspirations.
- Very low levels of self-respect and self-awareness.
- Some individuals may hold high moral values, but these stem from imposed behavioral norms rather than independent reasoning or self-respect.
- This level also includes those with low moral values and delinquent behavior, again as a result of the only behavioral models they were exposed to.
- What was imposed on them in childhood and youth as the only possible behavior remains unchanged throughout life.
- Frequently compare themselves to ancestors or those from whom they adopted all their behavioral and thought patterns.
- People at this level have low self-confidence but rigid beliefs, constantly seeking external validation since they lack strong character and firm personal views.
- Relationships at this level are only formal and superficially presented as deep and sincere, but true closeness, honesty, love, and respect are absent. These are arranged or imposed relationships, maintained at all costs for social validation, fear of loneliness, etc.
- Great importance is placed on others‘ opinions and how they are perceived.
- Incapacity to develop deeper emotional states.
- Manipulative behavior and deception are common.
- At this level, religiosity is prevalent, but only in terms of following customs and imposed behavioral models, with true faith in God being absent.
- Playing the victim is a common occurrence.
- Psychology has little effect at this level, as both social and emotional intelligence are low.
- The only acceptable help in crises comes in the form of primitive energy-based methods, such as removing curses, exorcisms, and breaking spells, as these shift responsibility onto external forces instead of taking accountability for one’s own circumstances.
- This level also includes those who engage in negative energy practices, such as casting black magic, curses, and spells.
Motivators and Areas of Influence:
- Fear of death, hunger, poverty, aging, illness, and loneliness are the primary motivators behind all actions.
- Only the most basic physiological needs (hunger, thirst, bodily functions, reproduction) are recognized, without the realization that humans, as spiritual beings, have needs beyond these.
- Pleasure is reduced solely to sex, perceived as a physiological need and passion as the peak of satisfaction.
- Life and its purpose are reduced to mere survival—working to earn a living, eating to avoid hunger or illness, marrying because it is expected, attending church because it is required, having a predetermined number of children because that is the norm.
Material Existence – The Creator
Characteristics and Manifestations:
- The first forms of conscious behavior and action appear at this level.
- Self-awareness is in its early stages.
- A person begins to perceive themselves as more than just a physical body—they recognize themselves as an energetic and creative being.
- Awareness of the mind as an integral part of one’s being that can be controlled and directed.
- A correlation between thoughts and circumstances becomes evident.
- The realization emerges that changing one’s beliefs can change one’s circumstances.
- The understanding develops that one can create and materialize desires using the power of the mind.
- Creativity and creative thinking start to flourish.
- This is the first step toward breaking free from imposed frameworks and allowing for different approaches.
- The importance of art, hobbies, travel, and other higher forms of pleasure is acknowledged.
- At this level, there may be an aversion to religion because consciousness is not yet developed enough to grasp the deeper concept of faith.
- Although a person opens up to self-improvement, they still remain focused on the material level, applying only what brings tangible, material benefits or visible, measurable results.
- Psychology is effective only in the domain of concrete methods and advice that have material proof of effectiveness.
- The simplest energy methods are applied without deep understanding of their essence or mechanisms, such as family and meta constellations, visualization and manifestation techniques, energy clearing methods, yoga, Kundalini practices, Reiki, etc.
- Relationships at this level are still superficial, but there is awareness that some relationships are satisfactory while others are not, and that relationships must also evolve to become fulfilling.
- A fundamental connection is still missing because consciousness is not yet developed enough to express and experience true love for anyone.
- The realization of love as a positive emotion begins, along with its separation from sadness, suffering, jealousy, and dependency.
- Self-confidence and self-respect start to increase.
- The greatest obstacle to further progress at this level is the overwhelming influence of the ego. When a person realizes they can create and influence external factors, they may feel powerful, attributing everything to their own abilities and beginning to see themselves as a god.
- Greed is another enemy of further consciousness development, as the hunger for material wealth grows and the sense of what is „enough“ is lost. This can lead to an extreme mindset where „the end justifies the means.“ If further consciousness growth does not continue, the mind becomes clouded again, and the person regresses to the level of the beast.
- This level is where life coaches, NLP trainers, and similar mentors emerge. They have the potential to evolve into spiritual teachers if they successfully overcome their own egos.
Motivators and Areas of Influence:
Strengthening the mind and expanding mental capacities.
Desire for self-validation.
Exploration of one’s own abilities and limits.
Desire to materialize dreams.
Desire to increase material wealth.
Aspiration for recognition and external validation of creative work.
Focus remains on the material aspect of human existence.
Fulfillment of ego-driven needs—status, power, position, dominance, influence.
Development of abilities and talents.
Emotional Existence – The Healer
Characteristics and Manifestations:
- A high level of consciousness.
- The awakening of awareness of oneself as a spiritual being begins.
- Recognition of oneself as a multidimensional being—body, mind, soul, energy body, aura.
- Awareness of the soul’s existence emerges, and one begins to connect with their own soul.
- Exploration of ways in which the soul communicates with the individual.
- The beginning of spirituality and the transformation of a human from a physical and energetic being into a spiritual one.
- Exploration of states beyond the mind—stilling the thought process, meditative states, lowering brainwave frequencies to extremely low levels, establishing clear communication with one’s soul, developing intuition and the third eye, awakening Divine love…
- At this level, consciousness is sufficiently advanced to begin mastering self-healing techniques and distant healing.
- Awareness of deeper levels of love emerges, focusing on awakening and developing the most profound forms of love that transcend both mental and emotional understanding—Divine love, unconditional love, eternal love…
- Healers are recruited at this stage.
- The ego is not prominent here, as it must be minimized to develop deep levels of love and healing abilities. Both of these require the complete absence of ego for their full development.
- A potential obstacle to further consciousness growth is the risk of mental clouding and confusion, as continuous focus on the spiritual and energetic realms can lead to psychological imbalances if the process is not balanced. It is crucial to integrate the connection between the soul and the entirety of one’s being, recognizing the mind’s role in this process. Developing both deep levels of love and healing abilities must be accompanied by an understanding of how these processes evolve and how to consciously manage them.
- At this stage, a person fully understands themselves, including all their aspects, characteristics, desires, flaws, and limitations.
- Relationships at this level are based on essence, striving for sacred unity with a partner—oneness on physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, energetic, and material levels. Partners experience their relationship in such a way that they become one soul in two bodies. They are completely unified, feel each other even without physical presence, communicate telepathically, and fully complement each other in all aspects. Their relationship is marked by absolute dedication to one another.
- Passion is transcended and replaced by a higher form of connection and fulfillment, where physical union is no longer about experiencing excitement but about ascending together to higher dimensions. In this state, the level of fulfillment experienced cannot be compared to the physical sensations of sexual climax because the pleasure here is beyond passion and cannot be measured by the intensity of a peak moment. Once this type of union with a partner is experienced, the physical friction-induced climax becomes insignificant and meaningless, as something incomparably more intense and lasting has been discovered. This is a pleasure that continues to flow through one’s being even after physical contact ends—a pleasure eternally imprinted in the entirety of one’s existence.
- Awareness of the limitless possibilities offered by spiritual experiences—higher-level experiences—emerges at this stage.
Motivators and Areas of Influence:
- Mastering forgiveness as an essential prerequisite for awakening any form of deep emotions.
Spiritual Existence – The Spiritual Human
Characteristics and Manifestations:
- Complete awareness of oneself as a spiritual being.
- Conscious connection, communication, and control over every integral part of one’s being—body, mind, soul, and energy being.
- Realization of the purpose of one’s existence.
- At this level, communication and connection with higher energetic beings (Angels, Beings of Light, God…) occur effortlessly and continuously.
- Attachment to material things gradually ceases.
- Here, one explores spiritual experiences that transcend the physical, material, and even this-dimensional realm, beginning to practice abilities considered superhuman.
- Techniques such as mind transcendence, astral projection, and telepathic connection are applied at this stage.
- The individual gradually detaches from the material and physical world and dedicates themselves to their Dharma or Purpose of Existence.
- The pleasures experienced at this level radiate Divine peace and are no longer dramatic or intense—this is a new, even higher level of fulfillment that one can experience.
- This is the level at which a person attains complete inner peace.
- Active engagement begins to fade, giving way to the process of simply being.
- Negative circumstances are no longer changed or influenced but are used as indicators of where a process stands. This can be understood as if one is in a boat meant to take them to their destined place, while the waves and storms along the way are not seen as obstacles or blockages but as signs indicating when and where to change direction or when to pause and align with Divine timing.
- At this level, one has fully realized what has been sent as a trial, what has been sent as a lesson to learn from in order to continue on the path of purpose. There is clear recognition of distractions, but there is no longer any struggle against them, as it is understood that nothing and no one can prevent them from reaching their goal.
- This is the stage where spiritual teachers, prophets, and those regarded as chosen by God to spread knowledge and witness sacred truths are revealed.
- The individual attains absolute clarity about everything around them, as if seeing everything from a hawk’s perspective.
- They interpret the past with clarity, remain fully present in the moment, and clearly see the future.
- However, there is a great danger of ego at this stage. The individual is fully aware of their mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual levels and how far above the average person they are. If they manage to overcome the ego and resist arrogance and pride, they are ready for the next level. However, if they succumb to ego and begin using their abilities against others instead of in service to others (as the essence of this level is serving others), they risk becoming worse than a beast and may descend into pure evil.
Motivators and Areas of Influence:
- The recognition of the purpose of existence is essential, and everything is directed toward fulfilling that purpose.
- At this level, desires may still arise, though they are no longer primary motivators, as consciousness here is at the stage of surrendering to the state of being.
- There is a need for spiritual experiences and the fulfillment of the Purpose of Existence.
- The pursuit of complete fulfillment and the attainment of a state of absolute inner peace or Nirvana.
The pursuit of complete fulfillment and the attainment of a state of absolute inner peace or Nirvana.
Mature Consciousness – The Divine/Holy Human
Characteristics and Manifestations:
This is a level where words lose meaning, and human intellect cannot comprehend or explain it.
This is the highest level of consciousness attainable. The next level involves transitioning into another dimension, which is extremely rare for a human to achieve beyond mature consciousness.
The individual is fully aware of themselves and the entirety of both the physical and spiritual worlds.
These are the people who know God’s secret or the Secret of the Universe’s functioning.
They radiate incredible calmness, understanding, love for all, and gentleness.
At every moment, they appear completely content and happy, and no situation can trigger any negative emotion in them, no matter what happens.
Here, one is fully connected with the highest levels of the spiritual world.
At this stage, complete surrender to Divine guidance has been achieved.
Just by being in their presence, you are filled with peace, tranquility, and the feeling that everything will be alright. Being near them makes you feel safe, loved, and serene.
These are Holy or Divine beings, and this is immediately apparent, as they radiate a unique energy that is impossible not to feel.
When you share the same space with them, it feels as though the entire space is illuminated by the light they emit.
Throughout history, only a few individuals have reached this level of consciousness.
At this stage, there are no personal desires, no motivations, and no needs of any kind—these individuals exist solely in service to others.
Here, time, space, and circumstances become irrelevant because their mere presence alters reality. They do not need to act or speak—just seeing them triggers countless processes within you, positively influencing your being and your reality. A single encounter with such a person is unforgettable and can transform your entire life. Once you experience the calmness, love, benevolence, omnipotence, and understanding radiating from such an individual, you will deeply desire to change yourself, and all previous perceptions will shift in that moment.
What you feel in their presence goes beyond emotions and energy—it is indescribable in words. The intensity of that experience cannot be expressed, as even a single moment with such a person leaves an eternal imprint on every cell of your being. The intensity never fades, even if you never see them again.
